I hope you all had a good weekend, doing something you really enjoyed. I would like to welcome Susan my newest follower. Lovely to have you visit here and I hope you will pop in often.
Today I would like to share a card I made for my grandson's birthday last week. He has only been playing piano for a few years and has done so well, and he enjoys his music very much.
I edged my card with Pan Pastel and then matted black cardstock. The patterned paper is from a Joy Crafts paper bloc - Dance to the music.
I tore a piece of music paper, antiqued it with Distress ink and distressed the edges.
Put a piece of card through the CB with a birthday embossing folder and inked that with Distress inks.
Cut 2 labels with a Lea'bilities die and added peel-off numbers that I had coloured black. Tied these to some twine, wrapped round the card and attached a music note charm.
Small brad buttons to finish.
Bryan was so thrilled with his card.
Will enter it in some challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #3...Anything goes
Crafty Calendar challenge ...Anything goes
A Girl who Crafts...Anything goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned paper challenge...Anything goes
The Sisters of Craft challenge...Anything goes
Your Scrapbook Place...Anything goes with a twist - A masculine card.
With the start of a new week I wish you a very good one. It is still very hoy here with not much rain, so trying not to do too much outside.
Take care and see you back tomorrow with a DT card. Have fun.
Love Ursula
