Two days in a row...Outlawz challenge

Hello there everyone.
Yes I did post yesterday...and today is the card for the Outlawz colour challenge. Firstly though I would like to welcome my new followers. It is really great that you have joined and I hope you wil continue to pop in and leave me acomment. In 3 weeks when I am back home, my postings will be much more often.
Now to the challenge. These were the lovely soft colours chosen by Sara this week.

Here is my card:

Paper...cream cardstock, matted rose velum from Papermania and Peach paper from CreaMotion
Cut and embossed corner with a new Marianne design die.
Used a 3D roses cutout from Nel van Veen
Finished off with lace and pearls

I would love you to hop on over and see the cards from the other DT members, and invite you to join in and show us what you can do with this week's challenge.

Today I also have a young grandson having a birthday back in South Africa. Dylan turns 5.
sadly our family does't live close enough for us to celelbrate with them all....but in 3 weeks we will be back home and we will have a celebration with him then.
Enjoy the rest of the week and take care...till next time.

Another post from far away

Happy Monday friends.
Yes I am still around, still on holiday... hence the long gaps inbetween my postings. The card this time is one I made for the birthday of a friend back in South Africa. It was also for a challenge on PCP ...Anything but cute...using blues...theme ..thinking of you.

Paper...Studio light...they have ranges in different colours of stripes, checks and dots.
Nellie Snellen die cuts for centre and sentiment from an unknown set.
I have inserted a tag, with a birthday greeting stamped. Pearls to finish, a very simple card

I have been busy with a few more cards inbetween having fun, so will get them posted here just as soon as I can.
Today is a special day in our holiday as it is our grandaughter Robyn's 12th birthday. This was one of the reasons for our holiday at this time of the year, as we had never celebrated her birthday here in The Netherlands. The previous time was when she was 2 and they came and visited in SA. So a special time for us and her. Last night we had dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe in Amsterdam, a favourite for her..and only visited for special occassions.
That's all for now, will try to be back soon. Wishing everyone a great week and take care.

New Year's Wishes... not too late

Good morning friends,
I just realised that my last posting was last year...so I would like to wish all my followers and blogging friends best wishes for a wonderful year. May you all be blessed with peace, joy, happiness and good health in this coming year. I also look forward to being inspired by all the lovely creations that I see on all your blogs. As I am still on holiday for another 5 weeks, my contributions here will be a little sparse...I am doing some crafting with my DIL at her shop  HobbyDee in The Netherlands, also helping out and giving a hand where I can.

My card this week was my entry for the DT at   The outlawz...colour challenge These were the colours we were given to work with, and the twist was to use a feather...... which was the choice of Teresa, taken from a photo of her beautiful parrot. Do go and have a look at the fantastic cards from the DT members and please try and join in with your gorgeous projects.

This is the card I made, using a digi image from Kenny K designs

Paper, green bazzil cardstock matted onto white card. DP from CreaMotion...dots and stripes, matted onto the green and the corner turned over and fastened with a brad.
Image......         Kenny K designs..coloured with Aquarelle pencils and cut out then mounted on white with 3D foam pads.
Sentiment...happy birthday was a stamp and "yes, yes, yes" hand written.

My entry card did have an orange feather. I couldn't find a feather before I took this photo, and then my DIL found a bright orange feather, so retook the photo, but forgot to save it, and I have posted off the card already. It is for my grandson in South Africa....celebrating his 15th birthday.
Well that's it from me for this week. I do apologize for not commenting on many blogs. I do try and pop in, but don't spend too much time on the computer, as you can imagine.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend..the weather is cooling down here...we might see snow before we leave.
Take care and warm wishes from me in The Netherlands.
