Here is the last colour challenge for the month of April at The Outlawz. I do hope you are reading this as I have scheduled it because I am away with all my family for a week. Our son and family are visiting from The Netherlands and we have been able to get away with all 3 our boys and their families. It would have been so great if our son and the family from New Zealand could have been here as well, but maybe one day we will have them all together again.
It so happens that our youngest son turns 40 on the 3rd May, so we will be celebrating that as well as all the other birthdays so far this year. The card I made is for Eric who loves music..plays guitar and sings in the choir at the church. He also used to play a bit of sax.
The colour palette and inspirational photo was my choice, with the twist to add a number. I didn't actually plan this for his card, but it was a perfect choice.
The DT have made some really super cards and I hope you will come and join in the fun this week.
Here is my card and what I have used.
Paper - Kraft cardstock for the card, with red card matted but first I stamped and embossed some music notes onto that. A piece of green put through the CB with a happy birthday folder. Just a pity the red looks a lot more pink on the photo, and I didn't have time to try and scan it.
Joycrafts die for the music.
The numbers were cut with one of my very first CB alphabet dies.
Added 3 brads, and a charm.
