Tuesday's Outlawz Colour Challenge

Good Morning all,
Tuesday has come round again and it's time for another colour challenge over at  The Outlawz This week the colour palette was chosen by Guylou, with the twist of including a Fuzzy Friend on your project.

Here is my card for this challenge.

The blue cardstock I ran through the cuttlebug, for some texture. I cut a strip of paper with a cuttlebug die and a black and white rectangle with a Nestability.
The image is a Penny Black, coloured with distress inks, cut out and mounted with silicone.
Stamped the sentiment and cut with an X-cut label, mounted with brads. The "wheel" in the corner is a button, with a silver centre card button cut with a Marianne Die. It does give the effect of a wheel.

The sponsor this month is  Guylou's Inimitability and the prize is a $20 gift certificate from her store. It is well worth giving it a go and entering this challenge.  Have a look at the lovely cards made by my DTeamies, and that will surely give you plenty of inspiration.
I am also entering this in the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday...I used this sketch
Polkadoodles...Let's hear it for the boys
Totally Papercrafts.....Favourite things....My cuttlebug and the colour blue.
Penny Black Saturday challengeThe young ones..for a child
My Craft Spot..Manly Man cards

I hope you will let me know what your think about it, I love to hear your comments. Enjoy the rest of the week, take care and see you soon.

Another Teddy

Happy Saturday everyone,
Yes it"s the weekend, and a lovely sunny one it is too. At last got a card made for a challenge and hopefully it can be entered in a few.
Teddy stampers Obviously the Teddy bear and they asked for Fall colours
Annabelle's No DP.
EHI blog An animal. My first time entering this one

Paper: Cream cardstock for the card, then because the call was for no DP, I put my card through the cuttlebug with the butterfly embossing folder (you do get butterflies in autumn). I matted my image onto a brown card.

Image is one of my new Penny Black stamps I bought from Shamela recently. Coloured this with distress ink pads and the flowers with twinkling H20's. I would normally have used spring colours as we are in Spring now, but this challenge needed Fall colours, so a little out of my normal colour range. I also swiped the background with antique linen distress inkpad, as the white just didn't look good.
Sentiment is a digital one from TLC

Finished it off with a few pearls and a brad.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Penny Black challenge

As I have just recently bought some Penny Black stamps from Shamela I needed to take part in this challenge which is "Feeling fruity". Couldn't think of something fruity, till I remembered some paper I had downloaded from Marieke Vermeulen designs some time ago. So this is what I put together.

DP from Marieke Vermeulen designs
Image stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks and twinkling H20'.
Sentiment from WOJ and used a few apple brads from my stash.

Hope you all have a wonderful creative weekend.

Card for CANSA

Happy Friday morning to everyone. We have had a rather cold couple of days, but it should start warming up for the weekend. When I look around the garden I see lots of small green shoots everywhere, so YEAH spring is just around the corner.

My card today is one I made for a call from a fellow RSA group member for cards for a CANSA Relay for Life. Each survivor will receive a goodie bag and a card.
Paper: White card, matted a Funky Hand DP. Printed from the"Dreams come true" CD
Image: Penny black, stamped onto watercolour paper coloured with distress inkpads and watercolour pencils. Cut with a Nestability and mounted on another.
Sentiment: Cut with a cuttlebug die and a pink ribbon and pearl to finish off.

Having a rather busy time at the moment and just not getting to any challenges. Hope to do some this weekend.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
