Another Teddy

Happy Saturday everyone,
Yes it"s the weekend, and a lovely sunny one it is too. At last got a card made for a challenge and hopefully it can be entered in a few.
Teddy stampers Obviously the Teddy bear and they asked for Fall colours
Annabelle's No DP.
EHI blog An animal. My first time entering this one

Paper: Cream cardstock for the card, then because the call was for no DP, I put my card through the cuttlebug with the butterfly embossing folder (you do get butterflies in autumn). I matted my image onto a brown card.

Image is one of my new Penny Black stamps I bought from Shamela recently. Coloured this with distress ink pads and the flowers with twinkling H20's. I would normally have used spring colours as we are in Spring now, but this challenge needed Fall colours, so a little out of my normal colour range. I also swiped the background with antique linen distress inkpad, as the white just didn't look good.
Sentiment is a digital one from TLC

Finished it off with a few pearls and a brad.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

At last, made a card for a challenge. I am entering this one into 2 challenges, Teddy Stampers and Create 4 fun
Teddy stampers challenge is "As you wish" and using 2 of everything, which I have done, papers, stamped images, flowers, ribbons and buttons.
Create4Fun - must have flowers on your card.

Paper used White cardstock matted Dp. from Scrapsheets a local company and Stacy Clair Boyd
Image is one of my new Penny black stamps just received from Shamela. Cut with another of my Nellie Snellen dies, coloured with distress ink pads and twinkling H20's.
Sentiment from Whiff of Joy
Flowers a selection of paper flowers and punch outs.
2 buttons from my stash
2 ribbons.

As it is the beginning of the weekend, hope you all have a wonderful time doing just what you enjoy. Me spending some more time with the family as their holiday is drawing to a close.

Teddy stampers challenge

Well I can't believe I managed another challenge today.
I followed a sketch from Teddy stampers and this is what I made of it:
Paper: white card, with yellow matted, then a strip of "grampa's pants" DP from a local company Fabscraps.
A strip of blue cardstock run through the cuttlebug.
White card cut with a nestability, edges chalked.
Image: Great impressions, again a local company
Embellishments: 3 small buttons and a flower layered with punchouts .
I haven't added a sentiment, as I am not sure yet who our dancing teddy is going to go to.
Well only one more day to go and then weekend. Hope you all have a good one. It has been exceptionally hot here today.
Take care
