1st March, has arrived. I love this month, not just because it is my birthday month, but also as it heralds in the lovely season of autumn. We don't have the beautiful colours that you find in some countries, but we do have the beautiful crisp mornings with the deep blue skies. There is a lovely autumnal feel in the breeze even on those hot late summer days, and the evenings are still lovely for the early evening 'braais' (barbeques). All in all a month to enjoy.
Today I want to share a gift card holder. I saw this idea on my blogging friend Bibiana's blog. I find her blog so full of inspiration. I needed one for my granddaughter so this is what I came up with.

The square insert was made with paper offcuts like patchwork. It is great fun to do.
The flower was made with a Marianne die. I cut 2 in different colours and then inserted all the small pieces from the alternate colour into the flower outline.
The sentiment was stamped and embossed on a Marianne die.
Finished it off with peeloff corners.
This is such a quick and easy card to make, and I just love the patchwork...uses up all those small pieces and I find it quite relaxing
I will enter this into the following challenges:
