Sailing with Digistamps4Joy

Hello friends,
Yes back with my second card today...well the first card actually as the previous posting was tags...anyway here it is.

The current challenge at Digistamps4Joy is Anything goes, with a twist ...add 3 of something.

The DT have all made lovely cards for inspiration, so please pop over to the challenge blog and see what they have done.

I have gone with a masculine card for a change, and these are the details,

The patterned paper was from my stash. The darker one was a freebie in a crafting magazine long ago.

The image is 'sailboat'and you can find it HERE I coloured it with Distress  inkpads and added some clouds.

Added 3 strands of twine with an anchor charm.

3 Buttons to match the twine and 3 birds in the sky.

Digistamps4Joy challenge #110

Hello my friends,
A happy Sunday to you all. Welcome to me newest followers and thank you for joining my small group of friends.
We are midway in challenge #110 at Digistamps4Joy The theme that Margaret my teamie has decided on is embossing...wet or dry and red to be the main colour. This time I made a masculine card for a change.

Please do have a look at the amazing cards made by the DT, and please remember that you don't have to use a DS4J image, but you get a chance at the main prize if you do so.

 

Paper is from an old We R Memory Keepers paper bloc, with only a few pages left

The banners are from a new Marianne Design die, embossed the large one with an embossing folder.

Masculine happy birthday

Good morning friends,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Sunday. We are having a beautiful day with some very high  temps. My granddaughter is taking part in her first high school horse show today, so we will be going to spend some time outdoors watching her jump and do dressage as well.



The card I have today is for a male birthday and I followed the sketch from
Seize the Birthday


I made the card from Kraft paper , and used an embossing folder and a stamp from the Chronology range by Docrafts. Highlighted the design with walnut stain Distress inkpad.  The stamp was a freebie with the  magazine. I think this will be put to great use for masculine cards in the future.
Finished it off with a sentiment attached with brads.
