My Guest Designer card

Good morning all,
Last month my card was spotlighted in a challenge at Crafting by Designs and I was invited to be a guest designer for February with their Anything goes challenge.  Well this is the card I made.

A few weeks ago I bought some new Crealies create a card dies. I was browsing her and the DT blogs for inspiration and came across Boukjes blog with some lovely ideas. This is where I saw this card and decided I need to make this.

This is what I used. with a close up of the flowers

Kraft cardstock. Crealies create a card die #2 for cutting the card.

All the flowers, leaves, doily were cut from various Joy and Marianne design dies.

The flourish is also a new Crealies die.

I so enjoyed making this card and was happy with how it turned out.
I will be back later to enter it in some challenges.

White on white and a GD spot

Good morning blogging friends,
Back again with a special card for the challenge Anything goes...with a colour twist..White on white at Crafting by Designs
I was so thrilled to be invited as a Guest designer this week, and here is the card I made with a colour image, which is quite in order.

I used a selection of dies and an embossing folder.

The snowflake border and single snowflake were cut with a Joycrafts...Noor design die, using a white patterned paper and added some crystal ice stickles.
The window is a Joycrafts die, and the image was a freebie from long ago, coloured with Distress inks.
The hanging sign is a Marianne design die and the sentiment is a Docraft stamp.
The fence is from Marianne Design and I added some texture past to it.
The background is a swiss dots embossing folder using a glimmer paper.

Please be sure to go and have a look at the amazing cards made by the DT and the guest designers this week at Crafting by Designs Awesome projects.

A GD spot featuring creatures

Hello my friends,
I am back with another card, this time it was made for challenge #66 at Use it Tuesday. The theme is 'creatures.' and  for their challenges at Use it Tuesday you have to use your hoarded items, well don't we all have plenty of that.
I was invited to be a guest designer this week and this is the card I made for it.

This  image is called 'caterpillar bridge' from DS4J and you can find it  HERE. I think it is such a cutie,
I coloured it with distress ink pads and a touch of Twinkling H2O's, with glossy accents on the eyes.

Paper was from KaiserKraft, matted onto green linen cardstock
.
Sentiment.. computer generated and mated onto an X-cut balloon.

MY hoarded items are:
the green mesh behind the image. I have plenty of that, as I received some with a plant gift being wrapped in it, and being a neon green, I don't use it often. Unfortunately it doesn't show up so well on the photo
Paper flowers. I can start a shop with these, and since I started making my own with punches and die cuts, I also don't use these that often.

I hope you will come and join in this week's challenge, such a fun one and if you head  on over to the challenge blog, you will see the lovely cards by the DT for your inspiration.

I will be back to enter this in some challenges.

Thanksgiving and GD spot

Good morning friends,
Here we are at the end of another week, and to day I am honoured to post a card as GD at Guylou's Inimitability.

With American Thanksgiving  just around the corner, there are so many things to be thankful for and it is a great time to say thank you to everyone who touches us in some way. So the challenge theme is 'Thanks for everything'

I have used the image Gabrielle on my card, coloured with twinkling H20's and cut out with a Nestie die. The background paper is from Jak Heath who has in the past made available some beautiful patterned papers as freebies. I just love them all. The sentiment is computer generated and finished off with ribbon and some pearls.

I invite you to go and have a look at  Guylou's blog and see the lovely cards made by the DT for your inspiration. She also has such gorgeous digital images, I am sure you could find something there to be thankful for. The prize is a $10 gift certificate, and you will have difficulty in choosing as the choice is huge.

I will be entering some challenges.
