Motherly Love

Good morning all,
Another new month so once again it is time for a new challenge at Let's Craft and Create This month we are celebrating Mothers. As usual the challenge is anything goes, but the option is Motherly love...can  be Mother's day, birthdays, just because...
The DT have made lovely cards for inspiration and this month there is again a lovely useful prize.

 I have gone with a birthday card as neither hubby or I have our mothers and I have taken on a project to supply an old aged home with birthday cards for the residents....so I need birthday cards this year.

I have used a Marianne Creatables die for the edging of my patterned paper.

The rose is also a Marianne Design die and I coloured it with inks while still in the die.

The sentiment is a peel off and 3 pearls to finish.

Birthday bling at the Outlawz colour challenge

Good morning and a happy Tuesday,

I can hardly believe that it is the last Tuesday of this month and at The
Outlawz this week the colour challenge is hosted by Ina. She chose a gorgeous inspirational photo and the colours are so perfect to add a "Birthday Bling" twist.

The DT have excelled themselves with lovely cards for you to have a look at. I hope you will join in with this fun challenge, as I know you all love to add bling to your cards and we always need birthday cards, so just come and play.

Recipe:

Used aqua cardstock and cut out a scalloped oval, placed the image behind that.
Cut a frame out of DP

Image is Sprinkles, coloured with Distress inkpads added bling for the decorations and added some pink glitter to the icing.

Sentiment is a peel off coloured with pens

Ribbon coloured with Distress inkpads.
