My first Christmas card
Firstly welcome to my new followers. Lovely to have you here, I made this card for Mo's challenge which is Christmas in July. Here is what I used
Paper: White cardstock, matted deep turquoise card onto that and then DP paper into which I cut a frame with a Nellie Snellen die. The paper was leftover from a pad of Christmas paper from last year. I got it from the Netherlands and no name to it. In the window of the frame I matted some textured vellum, which I spritzed with glimmer mist. It doesn't show too well in the photo.
The image is one of Mo's new images called Coloured her with Distress ink pads, twinling H20'sand watercolour pencils. Added some "frosted lace" to her coat and a bit of puff paint as I had no white flower soft.
Embellishments: Paper flower painted with twinking H20's and spritzed with some glimmer mist, finished off with a silver bead cap and pearl. Also glued on some silver sparkled snowflakes.
I also decorated the inside with a sentiment and some snowflakes cut with a cuttlebug die from hologram paper. The photo has changed the cardstock to pink, but it is in fact white.
I guess this is the first of many cards for Christmas. Can't believe that it is racing up so fast.
Have a good week everyone.
