Last week of Mahvelous March

Good morning friends,
Yes we are into the last week of March and so the last challenge for this month at The Outlawz colour challenge...Mahvelous March. This week our colours were chosen by my teamie Teresa, and they are such a lovely set to work with...the added twist is to add a gingham pattern.

Our sponsor this month has been Guylous Inimitability and if you enter  his week you still have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from her store, there are also some other lovely prizes...
Here is my card made with these colours

The papers are Bazzill, DP is from Scrapsheets...icing sugar, check.
The image is "Leah is gardening", coloured with Aquarelle pencils, used flower soft for the tree and shrub, punched out a few small flowers with a bling centre. Cut out with a Nellie Snellen MFD.
The ribbon from my stash, was a perfect colour match.
The sentiment is from Just Rite Stamps, puched out with a tag, added a flower, brad and charm.
It came together so nicely....BUT I didn't follow the instructions and had to redo it, as I used a pretty floral DP the first time round...not a gingham as required......At least all the detail was already worked out, so no big effort to redo.
Hope you will go and have a look at the cards made by my teamies. They really are awesome and then you can be inspired to join us this week. We would love to see your creations.

I am entering this in a few challenges

Totally Gorjuss...spots and stripes. ...spots on her boots and hope the stripes in the gingham count
The Crazy challenge...add a sentiment
One Stitch at a Time...anything goes
That's all from me today...see you soon and take care

Tilda arrived too late

A happy Saturday to you all. I guess little Tilda should have pedalled faster, as she arrived too late for the challenge. At least her little bunch of flowers did not wilt.LOL! I of course forgot that the Magnolia down under challenge is in Australia and they are way ahead of us in their day, so I was too late. But here it is anyway. The theme was flowers.

Matted the downloaded DP paper from Bearly Mine designs onto white cardstock. Put a piece of marbled cardstock through the cuttlebug Roses folder, Layered the image onto lilac card cut with a scolloped nesty.

Image is Tilda with bike, the first of my new Magnolia stamps I bought from Paola recently and coloured it with my distress inks also a first. Still need lots of practise. The bunch of flowers I made with flower soft.

Sentiment is from WOJ new 1001 nights.
Finished off with 3 pearls and flowers with some glitter, because the wish is for a day that sparkles.
I enjoyed making it, and as this was my first challenge entry for down under, I will know to be well on time for the next one.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend relaxing. Will be watching my grandaughter in her horse show tomorrow.
See you all soon.

Teddy Stampers challenge

I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderfully relaxing Sunday. At least we are having no rain today, plenty of warm sunshine, with just a hint of autum freshness in the mornings. Love that.
I have made a card for the Teddy stampers challenge, but have just realised that I am a week behind. The dry embossing was the previous challenge (where did the week go LOL), Saw the theme was LOVE for the new challenge and I have two hearts on this card, so "maybe"???? Anyway here goes. I enjoyed making it and it also serves for a card swap on a PCP blog "Pretty in Pink".
Paper: white cardstock and matted onto that another white card embossed with my brand new "Roses" cuttlebug folder.(this was one of the folders I chose with my voucher that I won on the cuttlebug blog challenge a few weeks ago)
Image : A digital image (not sure - it was cuddly something. Will have to note these down in future) Cut a circle with nestabilities, swiped the edge with pick stamp. I coloured with my Tombow markers and a bit of glitter on the bow. I used flower soft for the flowers. (not yet that familiar with it, need more practise) Glossy accents on the hearts to make them stand out.
Sentiment: Whiff of Joy
Ribbon from my stash and punched flower.
Hope to be back soon with some more, but still have a few swaps to get out of the way.
Have a good week everyone.
