The weekend is ahead and it looks like some rain is forecast. I must add that for all those that have read about our drought, we are having some rains. Not enough to break the drought, but welcoming rain has fallen in a few parts of the country, so just hope it continues. It is too late for some farmers but at least some of the livestock can be saved.
OK, now onto the challenge for today.
At Digistamps4Joy we are now midway in our latest challenge which is the usual anything goes, but with a twist of adding a handmade embellishment. Desire is our host this month and she always makes lovely embellishments, so do go and see what the DT have created with this theme.
The idea for my card came was taken from Kitty Franken.
Paper is from Milton and Co. Christmas paper pack.
Image is Pie Time and you can find it HERE coloured with Distress inkpads and I added glitter to the cream.
My handmade embellishments are 3 paper candles.
Sentiment is a new stamp I got and the birthday sentiment I put onto a banner to hold the candles.
Finished off with pearls.
