Choose 3 colours at The Outlawz colour challenge

Good afternoon friends,
Well I am rather late posting my card for the Colour challenge at The Outlawz, as this card has just been a problem. Ever had one of those...I finished the card and was rather pleased with it, but was late in posting it on the challenge site, so this morning when I went to post it, I realised that I had not read the challenge requirements fully. I had focused on the Twist and not the colours...oh dear!!! what to do...just change part of it.

This week the inspirational photo with the colours and twist were chosen by my teamie Ina.. There are 5 colours shown, but you are required to choose 3 and the twist is to 'make a scene'

This being the last week of the month we say a big thank you to Stitchy Bear for the lovely images we were able to use this month.

The DT have once again made stunning cards using some of these images, so please visit the challenge blog and see their lovely projects, then come and join in the fun.

After redoing part of the card this is what I came up with. My choice of colours  - stone grey, gentle lime and autum orange.

Paper - dark green cardstock, a hessian look DP.

Image - Flowers for Mum and you can find it HERE Coloured with Distres inks and I made a 3D image, with parts that I redid. Put pearl drops in the flower centres and a glitter pen on the petals

The background image is a DS4J image called Farm scenery and it can be found Here. This I couloured with Pan Pastels and printed the fence twice to raise it. Added some glitter to the sun's rays.

Sentiment is a peel off on a label attached with twine that I coloured with distress ink.

How clever of you to combine those images. I love the dimension you added by popping up the little boy and the fence.

Hello Ursula, Thanks for following my blog and for your lovely comment. I'm pleased to hear you like the things on mine and it will be nice to hear from you again sometime.
I haven't been doing much papercrafting since I retired from demonstrating, designing rubber stamps and teaching workshops and I have returned to an old love in patchwork.
I've had some renovations at home and my craft room has had a clear out and revamp so maybe I'll get cracking again soon. Thanks for your birthday greeting too,
Best Wishes from
