Another Colour challenge at The Outlawz

Good morning friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend enjoying the time with family and friends, or even just relaxing on your own.

We are having our son and family visiting South Africa from The Netherlands, and am so happy as today it is our son Steven's birthday and we will be spending the day together with some of the other family as well and as the weather is still lovely sunny and warm, we will have a good old South African "braai"..barbecue, with some of their favourites.

Now on to the business of the Colour challenge
for this week. It is another of the special challenges where you get to choose three colours from the palette, for your card. The twist is to add a butterfly. This gorgeous photo was chosen by Penny, for this week's inspiration and she is also sponsoring the prize for this month. Now with such beautiful colours who can resist making a project for this week.

I decided this week to use a sketch for my card...haven't followed one for ages.  I decided to go with the C.R.A.F.T. challenge #225, but was too late to enter it in the challenge.

Here is the card for this week's colour challenge, and I once again used my Pan Pastels, that I just love playing with. The colours I chose were sky blue, passion purple and grass.

This is what I used:
Paper - blue cardstock, patterned paper from a pad by Marianne Design...Rose garden.

Image - from a set 'Urban stamps' Papermania by DoCrafts, stamped and then coloured with Pan Pastels. matted on card and raised with foam pads.

Rosette is a die from Nellie Snellen, also cut from the same paper pad and inked with distress ink.
Sentiment is a peel off on a Nellie's label.

Washi tape, pearls, and  butterflies using Nellies punches to finish it off.

I rather liked the end result and hope you will let me know what your think of it. I just notice that on the photo, the centre of the stamped image is not defined, but it is OK on the card.

Will enter the following challenges:
Crafting from the Heart challenge #15...Anything goes
Squigglefly challenge #16...Flutterby Butterfly
Craft your Passion challenge #210...Pretty Pastels
The Crafty Bloggers Network...Diecuts or Embossing

Robyn's Fetish challenge #208...Square cards
Stamping sensations...Use dies or punches
