I have been a little quite this past week with good reason. Today is a wonderful day in our family. My MIL Annie Uphof turns 100. We have had a very busy week, with 2 of our sons and a granddaughter arriving from Netherlands and New Zealand last Friday. Lots of family time with a big gathering on Sunday morning..starting with a church service of thanksgiving and then a social morning, ending with a family dinner. Today another get together at the care house where Mom lives. This photo was taken this morning at the tea party given by the Care Centre for the family and residents.
It was a very special occasion for the family and just a pity that the rest of the family from Netherlands and New Zealand were not able to be here with us. Our granddaughter Mirabella 7yrs entertained Oma by playing some beautiful music for us all.
This is the card I made for her birthday:
The image is from Digistamps4Joy coloured with twinkling H20's.
Flowers were punched with Nellie Snellen foral punches. The large die is a Marianne Design die as are the leaves.
Finished off with pearls
It has been a truly great time for us as a family and we are grateful for being Blessed to have our Mom with us for such a long time.
