Yes I know I am running a bit late, but it has been a madly busy few days, and I have also had a bit of a battle with my back...this slowed me down, but I think I am slowly getting back on track. Welcome to my new friends...great to see you here and hope you will find some inspiration to return often.
Today being Tuesday it is again the Colour challenge at The Outlawz, and this week it was Guylou's turn to choose a photo inspiration and colour palette, with the twist being add a fruit print or embellishment
Lovely summery colours...but here we are heading into winter, so not ideal for us, but I managed something...and last Sunday being Mother's Day we had a lovely brunch with our son & DIL and there on the table were the most beautiful and delicous strawberries....
The paper I used was all from my scrap box. I decided to stamp strawberries on the yellow spotted paper to match the fruit on the dress.
The image is a Whiff of Joy that I haven't used in absolutely ages. Coloured with watercolour pencils cut out with a scolloped die.
The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with an X-cut label die.
A ribbon and an apple brad just finished it off.
This month our sponsor for all the challenges is
Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps
and you have a chance to win 4 digi images that the DT are using this month.
So please go and have a look at the fantastic cards made by the DT and then come and join us with your entry.
I will be looking to enter this in some challenges
Hope to be back soon, with something else to show you, but in the meantime take care and have fun.
