Good day to everyone. I have made a card which I will enter into three challenges. The theme they all have in common is "Summertime". Well let me tell you all it definitely is nowhere near summertime here. In some parts of the country it is the coldest in 20 years. I hope all our soccer visitors are not cold. I see them on TV sitting watching matches when the temp. is nearing 2 or 3 deg. at night.At least I have the comfort of a nice warm house to catch all the games. One week into the World cup and I guess a few surprises. OK now to my card.
The three challenges I am entering are:
Karen's Doodles In the Summertime
A spoonful of sugar Enjoying the sunshine
Sentimental Sunday Summertime.
Paper. White cardstock, matted DP from Funky Hand Dreams come true CD, and lavender cardstock.
Image is from Karen's Doodles - a freebie a while back - stamped with versafine black onyx onto watercolour paper and coloured with Aquarelle pencils, and cut out with a new Nellie Snellen die. Added a bit of glitter to the wings.
Flowers are punched with my new Nellie Snellen flower punches, that also emboss, and a pearl in the centre.
Sentiment is from WOJ stamped onto a ribbon tag, also from a Nellie Snellen die.
I guess you all realise that I got some new "toys" to play with and have had a lot of fun doing so.
All in all enjoyed making this card. Trying to keep warm with thoughts of summer. Hope all my friends in the northern hemisphere are enjoying summer weather and a lovely weekend.

Realy a summery card! Great stamp for this theme, lovely papers and flowers.
"Our" guys are in South Africa as well and all the Durch are getting crazy again tomorrow :) Everything will be orange, the people, the houses and the stores! Me too, I have to...my nephew (9) asked us to come over and watch the game with them :)
