Tilda in the News
As some of you will know we here in South Africa are on the eve of the 2010 World Cup Soccer tournament. Soccer fever is high here and I have taken the liberty of adding a bit of a soccer feel to today's challenge. I am entering this card in the Magnolia down under challenge which calls for "polka dots"
Paper: White card, onto which I matted a DP "icing sugar dots" from a local company Fabscraps. Then used a piece of green DP which has grass tufts on it. They are not that visible, but represent the soccer fields.
The image is Tilda with newspaper, and she is covering all the news at the moment. I have taken the liberty of colouring her in the colours of our national team "Bafana Bafana" green and gold. I used my distress inks for this.
Sentiment is from WOJ and lots to celebrate here at the present and for the next 5 weeks.
I used a brad with dots to resemble the soccer ball and some streamers. What would a celebration be without these. 3 dewdrops and a flower with glitter. A girl has to have some bling, even on the sports fields.
Hope you like my little bit of fun in support of our huge event here for the next 5 weeks. Where ever you may be if you have team here in SA we welcome them and wish them luck for this competition.
