Seeing stars

Good morning all. Hope you are having a good Wednesday as we are half way through the week already. Here in South Africa we are having a holiday "Youth Day", It is also freezing cold at the moment. Had our first serious frost of the winter and all my lovely fucshias and several other plants have been hit by the frost and looking rather sad now. For those following the World cup, we are having some really good matches. I have watched the start of all the games and supported the teams from Netherlands and New Zealand and of course our own SA boys, who have all done well. Our local Bafana Bafana are playing again tonight. Well enough of all that.

I have found some time to make a card. I belong to a group on PCP "anything but cute" and the challenge this week is Seeing stars. So I made an easel card. Not very large 10cm x 10cm, so no extra postage required.

The paper: Black cardstock, matted a piece of DP that I had from a Halloween RAK. I thought it looked good for a starry sky effect. The star I made on the computer to the size I required and put it through the cuttlebug stars folder and embossed with gold.

Sentiment was computer generated as well. and used 2 star brads to hold it in place.
