Today is a Tuesday which means a new Colour challenge at The Outlawz. We have a super tic-tac-toe board made up for us by Cara and the DT have made some really great projects, so do come along and join in this week.
Our sponsor this month is Mari Digis
I was happy to make a summery card this week as we have been having some really cold winter weather and the thought of a lovely summery day at the beach was very enticing.
I used the centre row across on the tic-tac-toe board.
For the texture on my card I used paste with a Memory box stencil. When the paste was dry I went over it with yellow Distress ink and then glitter for the sun's rays.
The image is a very old Lily of the Valley stamp. Not sure if they are still around, and I coloured it with Pan Pastels and cut out with a Nellie's die.
The sentiment is from a page of KaiserCraft ..Sandy toes collection..all holiday sentiments .. I added a touch of glitter to the words and also used a Nellies die to cut it out.
Finished off with a wooden sun embellishment and pearls.
I will be entering some challenges,
