I hope you all enjoyed a peaceful and happy Easter. After all the holidays we have had the last few weeks, I wasn't sure just what day it is today, but I realised it is Tuesday, so that means another colour challenge at The Outlawz. This week we have a lovely inspirational photo for you, and I am sure there is so much that you can use as inspiration for your card. Just let us know when entering the challenge what it was that inspired you...the colours, the scenery, season, or whatever...have fun.
For the last time this month we have Digistamps4Joy as our sponsor, and we thank them for that.
For my card this week I was inspired by the scene with hills and flowers, so decided to create my card using this theme.I made a fold out pop-up card (not sure just what it is called).
For the front I used a printed sheet from an old Papermania paper pad Country Companions...Lots of love and hugs.
I matted it onto a floral printed piece and then coloured the edges of the second piece with Distress inkpads..
Stamped a Hero Arts sentiment on the front.
For the inside which has the pop up part, I also used paper from this pack. The floral sheet and then part of another preprinted piece, where I used the pathway and the fence only.
The Image is called Bunny knocks and you can find it HERE I coloured it with Distress inkpads and added small punched out flowers with little pearl dots for the centresI also added a tree cut from a Marianne Design die.
The sentiment is also from the Hero arts set, cut out with a die and attached with flower brads.
Added a punched border to finish off the top.
