Colour challenge at The Outlawz

Good morning friends on the first Tuesday of 2016,
The year is still very new, and with all the holidays of the last 2 weeks, I still feel I need to think what day it is, but I am sure that will all change very soon.

For the first colour challenge at The Outlawz this year Laurian has decided to use the colours of a flag and she has chosen the interesting flag of St Pierre and Miquelon. You can decide what inspired you, the colours, the design, whatever it is we would like to see your project.

The DT have made some great projects and would love you to come and see them.

Being a new month we also have a Stitchy Bear Designsas our new sponsor.

I decided to go with a notepad. I made several of these a few years ago and decided that this year some of my friends would get one of these little gifts instead of a birthday card.

I made a cover for the front and covered the notepad with cardstock and added a diecut.
The image was coloured with my Derwent pencils and added googly eyes and some buttons.

The sentiment was a freebie from a blogging friend Hannelie which I attached with a brad.

Will enter some challenges:
Crafting from the Heart #93...Anything goes
Craft your Passion #293...Anything goes
Crafty Boots ...Something old, something new (old..buttons..new - googly eyes)
Not Just Cards #28...Anything goes
Our Crafting Corner #5...Anything goes
Where the Heart is #5...Anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy ...New to you (image and googly eyes)
Crafty Sentiments Designs ...Anything goes
Creative Card Crew #103...Anything goes
Deep Ocean challenge  #119...Anything goes
Lemon Shortbread...#6...Anything goes
Through The Craftroom Door...Anything goes

Thank you for visiting and I will be back later with another DT card. Take care/

Love Ursula

Your note pads make a great gift and I am sure your friends treasure them because you took the trouble to make them. This one is so cute with the jolly notepad and pencil on the front. Thank you for sharing your work with all of us at Crafty Boots Challenges.
