Looking through the window at The Outlawz

Hello friends, I hope you are well.

Tuesday again and so onto the Colour challenge at The Outlawz.
This week it is the turn of Heather to provide us with the Inspiration for the challenge. This is the picture she has chosen. You can use anything that inspires you from this photo...maybe the colour, or particular plants, whatever  it is you need to tell us..as that is the twist.

When I first saw it, I imagined standing in front of a window gazing out at this spectacular scene of colour, and that is what I tried to do in my card.

We are still sponsored by Nicecrane this week, and I have chosen to use one of the preprinted images from Hendersons Giant Flowers 2, and you can find it HERE

The DT have all used a Nicecrane image, and I invite you to go and see what amazing projects they have created.

I decided to make a centre step card.
I couldn't even try to use the colours, so I created a window with some colour behind it, where I glued the picture.

I stamped a brick wall design on the whole card, with Distress inkpads.

The window is a diecut from Marianne design,
For the leaves on the side I  also used a Marianne Design Die.

The sentiment I found in a book.

It is actually quite a simple card and didn't take that long to make....thanks to no colouring of an image.

I am entering the following challenges:
Crafting from the Heart #82...Anything goes
Crafting your Passion #284...Anything goes
Love to Scrap #64...Anything goes
Not Just Cards #25...Anything goes
The Sisterhood of Crafters Die-lirious and punchy
Wonderful Wednesday ...Anything goes
Word Art Wednesday #205...Anything goes
Through the Craftroom Door ...Anything goes

Have a fantastic week everyone, will see back tomorrow with another DT card. Till then take care, but have fun.

Love Ursula

Oh this is so stunning Ursula. LOVE it instantly when I saw it first at Outlawz Fan page and have to come for a closer look. I really adore how you work the window with this fold card! I've never done a step up card. I think it's time I look into a tutorial. The colors for this week challenge is so gorgeous, making the whole scene from the window a breath-taking view! Oh just LOVE this card! Stunningly done Ursula!

Hugs,

This is really amazing...Love the shape, the window/gate as well as the papers. So delighted that you joined us at Word Art Wednesday. A new challenge is starting today and I hope you visit us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word found in Jeremiah 29:12-13 and the Lord tells us, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Have an awesome day!
