It is the first Tuesday of May and another colour challenge at The Outlawz. This week Ina has chosen a beautiful photo for inspiration, with the twist ...make it for Mother's day or a special friend.Being a new month we also have a new sponsor. Lunagirl has given the DT a number of gorgeous images to work with.
This is my card using one of the flower images. It reminded me of the California Poppies we have just planted in our garden, and I love them.I used pink cardstock and onto this I matted card that I had coloured. I used my Pan Pastels, and then used some bubble plastic, inked with Versa Mark and pressed that onto the coloured card. Then went over it again with the green Pan Pastel.
Coloured the flowers with Distress ink and cut out with a Nellie Snellen MFD.
