Today is the first colour challenge for this month with the Absolutely August twists.
Laurian has chosen the colour palette, inspirational photo and twist for this week, and she has asked us all to 'go dotty' with our cards.
The DT have made such gorgeous cards with these colours and twist, so for some inspiration do go and have a look at what they have to show.
Our sponsor for this month is again the well loved Bugaboo Stamps and most of the DT have used one of their images.
Here is my card.
Recipe:
Paper - Cardstock, coloured it with Pan Pastels in Lavender.
Patterned paper - Pretty Paper Bloc - French roses by Marianne Designs, cut the edge with a MD die.
Image - Fancy Umbrellas 1 from Baugaboo and you can find it HERE. Coloured it with Distress inkpads, added a touch of Twinkling H20's to the flowers with a bit of glitter, and some bling for the flower centres. Cut it out with a Nellie Snellen die.
Sentiment - I think it is a Hero Arts stamp
Finished off with seam binding and pearls.
