A boy card

Good morning friends,
I have just realised that this is the last colour challenge at The Outlawz for March.....I can't believe that the first quarter of the year is almost done. and I am sure with all that we are planning the next 3 months will be going equally as fast.

Well onto the said
colour challenge for this week

Ina has selected the lovely colour photo and twist for the challenge

This week is another 'special' challenge and you need only use 3 of the colours in the inspirational photo. The twist is to make a boy card.
When you enter your card, please mention the colours you have used.

The DT have made some lovely 'BOY' cards, so I invite you to go and have a look at their creativity for inspiration.

Our sponsor this week is still Anne Fenton from Anne's Digital Art,
and she has some lovely images, so why not pay her a visit.

So onto my card, and I decided to go with a Handyman theme this week.

Paper..the striped paper was a piece from a swap I did some time back, and had the right colours, although the red is a little brighter on the card.
The Denim paper is from a pack by Marianne Designs...for the Men

The image.. is a stamp from a set by Darcies that I bought when I first started and was visiting my family in The Netherlands. My DIL and I went to a open day at a store and bought it on a special. I stamped it on the denim paper and embossed with black EP, to show up the stitching, then cut it out and raised with foam dots.

The yellow cardstock was inked with distress inkpad using one of my new Memory box stencils

The tools were cut from a Marianne Design die. Cut them once in a grey, then a\the handles in a  colour and attached them, to the tools, colouring the metal parts with a silver metallic pen.

Attached with 'screw' brads, and found a hand eyelet which I used to attach some twine.

The sentiment is also from the same set.

I enjoyed making this fun card and will enter it in the following challenges.
