Some of my regular followers may remember last year I posted about my MIL who had turned 100, and again in July this year we celebrated her 101st birthday, which was a real achievement, and she was still relatively healthy, just suffering from dementia, and feeling very tired at times.
On Saturday at 21.45, she left us, but not without thanking the staff who were looking after her in the frail care.
Today we had a beautiful funeral mass with family and friends, celebrating her life, but nevertheless mourning a very special lady who will be missed very much by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren here in South Africa and also in The Netherlands and New Zealand. We are thankful for the many years that we enjoyed with her...may she RIP.
I will be back tomorrow on a happier note. Take care,
love Ursula
