Good morning friends and a happy Tuesday,
September is upon us and for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere...winter is behind us, especially if you live in the drier parts of the country with no rain since March...everything is dry, dusty and brown. The arrival of spring with new green everywhere and thoughts of rain, even a thunderstorm would be welcome...just a bit of patience I guess. Now onto my card..
This week the colour inspiration at The Outlawz colour challenge was chosen by Guylou, and the twist is a masculine card.
Our sponsor for the month of September is Inky Impressions
http://www.inkyimpressionsrubberstamps.com/
with the prize being 3 digis of your choice.
Here is my card
I decided to use a Marianne Design die of the sailing boat, cut it out twice and mounted it as a shadow on a die cut. The "waves" were cut with a Crealies die and I brushed the crests of the waves
with white embossing powder. A computer generated sentiment, a button with some string finished off the card.
I invite you to go along and check out the lovely cards made by the members of the DT this week...very inspiring and then come and show us what you have created.
These are the challenges I am entering:
Papertake Weekly challenge...Anything goes
Card Mania challenge">...At the beach/On the sea
Make it Monday...Anything goes
Paper Pretties challenge...Create a square card
Hooked on Crafts challeng...Cards for Men
Challenge 4 Everybody...Anything goes
Dream Valley challenge...Something old, domething new...Old is paper and button, new is Marianne design die- boat
No matter which challenge...Die cuts/punches

That's all I have today...take care and have fun
