Time for cake

Happy Friday to everyone,
Today we are having a public holiday...Freedom Day...to commemorate the day when our new Government took over...so we are having a long weekend, and as Tuesday is also a holiday 1 May, many people have made it an extra loooong one, by taking Monday off as well.
My card today is filled with cake...cupcakes in fact...so ready for a party.

The design is a Three fold card  from Annette's Creafarm.

The papers are from American Traditional Designs...Pastels.
The paper on the inside is from Scrap Sheets...Icing sugar..small cupcakes...A local company.
Images are a selection of cupcake stamps all from local suppliers and a freebie from a Creativity magazine. They are all coloured with Aquarelle pencils and the wrappers on the large ones were all paper pieced. Added some glitter and shine to the icings. They were cut out and raised with silicone for a 3D effect. The large cutout is an X-cut die and I put it through the cuttlebug.
The flowers are all from Marianne Designs and Nellie Snellen dies.
Sentiments from local suppliers and finished off with some ribbon, pearls, card candy, button and eyelits and ribbon for closing.

Entering a few challenges;

Annettes Creafarm challenge  .....3 fold card..emailed photo
Addicted to stamps Cakes /stitching...
Ribbon Carousel Challenge..Anything goes

Aud  Sentiments..Anything goes
Wishing you all a lovely weekend and for the South African girls a great long one.
Take care, have fun, see you soon

I love the style of your card - I may just need to try one someday soon. Love all of the embellishments and that you decorated your card both inside and outside. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us for our Anything Goes challenge at Aud Sentiments!

I Ursula have been struggling to leave comments lately but had to come back and tell you what a beauty this is .You really are good at the tricky folds cards. Love the colouring on the little cup cakes and the embossing you have done.
