Good morning everyone,
It has been a while since my last post, but being on holiday and having fun have been the important things the last 4 weeks. I can hardly believe that we are down to our last week and next week this time all going well we will be in our own home again.
This week the colours and inspirational photo at The Outlaws Colour challenge
was my choice....(sorry working from my tablet, I am not able to get the inspirational photo up here.
When I chose these colours with the twist ...to use something with wings...I had in mind a lovely spring card, but alas here in The Netherlands, spring has been very evasive. Green sprouting trees and shrubs, with some flowers, but no sun or warm spring days. At least the warmth of the family with fun times was what has made it so special.
On to my card now. This was one of the first cards I made while here on holiday. I have the good fortune of being able to play in my DIL Diane's hobby shop...so had some fun with Pan Pastels. Loved the outcome and was so lucky to get some as a Mother's day gift.
The stamps used...the square one with butterfly was a freebie with a stamping magazine, the other was from a Papermania set.
All colouring was done with Pan Pastels
Punched out some butterflies and added some embossing .
Liquid pearls to finish.
I think it is always more of a challenge when not having your own craft things.
I will see if I can find a challenge or two to enter.
Timeless Tuesday challenge #221...Butterflies.
Through the Craftroom Door challenge...Anything goes.
Anything goes challenge #93...Handmade backgrounds
Make it Monday #141...Anything goes
I am not sure if I will be posting here again before we get back home, but the next card I am sure will be posted from my craft room in South Africa.
