As usual on a Tuesday we go to The Outlaws for thecolour challenge. This week it was the turn of Laurian to choose the inspirational photo and colour palette with the twist to had sparkle.
Our sponsor for the month of August is Digistamps4Joy and one of the images we were given to use was "Peacock" which you can find HERE. Of course with these colours I couldn't help but use it for my card.
The DT have made some amazing cards for inspiration and would love you to come and join us. There are some lovely prizes to win, from Digistamps4Joy and other sponsors....so why not give it a go.
I decided to make a twisted easel card, which is actually a very easy fold to make.
I coloured the peacock with Twinkling H20's and distress inks. Added glitter to the feathers.
Cut it out with a Nestability die, matted onto a dark blue and cut it out .
The designer paper was a piece from my stash
Sentiment...from Whiff of Joy, cut out with a Marianne Design die.
Added gems, ribbon, pearls and glitter, unfortunately, the shimmer of the H20's and the glitter doesn't show up that well on the photo.
I think my card matches the following challenges:
C is for Challenge #74...All creatures great & small
Craftin Desert Divas #13 Linky Party
Creative Creations challenge #17 Bingo..(Centre row down) Sentiment, image, pearls
Lexi's Creations #97...Sparkle & Shine
Make it Monday #154...Anything goes
The Crazy challenge #152...Animals
Stamp and Create challenge...Glitter
The Papernest Dolls challenge # 11...Shaped card
Challenges 4 Everybody #27...Anything goes
Come and Get it...Things with wings"
That's all I have for now. Hope to see you back soon, take care.
Love, Ursula

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The paper nest dolls
ReplyDeleteThis is so classy! Love the monochrome character of this card. Can you believe that in my country (Poland) peacock's feathers are the symbol of bad luck? They are so beautiful! I would like to thank you for entering my 'C... is for challenge' blog and I wish you good luck in the draw.
