A new Colour challenge at The Outlawz this Tuesday...use the colours of my country's flag.
This week we have another of our 'new look' challenges, using the colours of your flag. I have the honour of hosting this week and so this is the flag of South Africa from which to choose your colours. You may make any project using some or all of the colours and there is a twist...make it Thanksgiving or thanks.
We still have Squigglefly as our sponsor this month, so please come and see the fantastic cards that the DT have made for your inspiration using some of their lovely images.
This is my card using the image Blessing tree and you can find it HERE. I have used all the colours in the flag.
Paper - coloured cardstock, Patterned Paper from my stash
Image coloured with Distress inkpads. Added a drop of Glossy Accents to the heart carried by the bird. Cut it out with a Nestability oval and mounted on a scolloped diecut.
Sentiment is a freebie from Netty's cards cut with a circle punch.
Finished with ribbon and some beads.
I would really love to see what you would come up with using the colours of my flag, so please come and join in the challenge.
