Entwined at Let's Craft and Create

Good morning friends and a happy Sunday,

Today starts the new challenge at Let's Craft and Create with the theme ..entwined. So just use twine somewhere on your project. If you hop over to the challenge blog you will see amazing projects for inspiration.

I need some sympathy cards in my stash, so that is what I made this time.

I used a Memory box die..Darling poppies and cut it twice. Once with black card and then with red.
Glued down the black outline first and then inlaid the red pieces.

The sentiment is a Just Rite stamp.

Added a twine bow and some pearls to finish.

Matted it onto black cardstock.

Entering the following challenges:

A Gem of a challenge #189...Use 3 B's (3 beads, bow, black)
Di's Digi Designs....Diecuts/punches
A bit more time to Craft #39...Anything goes
Craft-Dee bows...Anything goes
World wide challenge ...Anything goes

Have a lovely day and a great week. I am off on a long holiday this week, visiting our son and family in New Zealand, so will be while before I am back. Take care.

March progressive challenge

Happy 1st March friends,

I love this month mainly for 2 reasons. It is my birthday month, and we also start feeling the change of seasons as summer fades and we get the lovely autum feel in the air.
I am also pleased that March has arrived, because we will be going to visit our family in New Zealand shortly, where I will celebrate my birthday.

This month at The Outlawz the new progressive challenge is sponsored by Beccy's Place with 3 images. Spring window in colour, black & white and also a sentiment.

The DT have made lovely cards for inspiration using these images.

If you played last month, you will already have received your images, if you would like to join then you need to register and give us your email. If you make a car this month you will receive the new image next month.

For my card I used the precoloured image.

I used  lavendar cardstock and onto that I matted a white card that I embossed with texture paste. I then coloured it with destress inkpads.

Cut the image with an X-cut die .

Added a branch cut with a Marianne die. Used craft cardstock and coloured with distress inkpads.

The sentiment was attached with 3D foam pads.

Will look to enter some challenges.

I wish you all a great week and a wonderful month. Take care.

Love Ursula
