After a lovely cloudy weekend with some lovely rain, it is again a warm sunny day, and today there is another colour challenge for you all at The Outlawz.
Today Penny chose the colours for the challenge with this gorgeous photo and colour palette. She has asked us to use distressing as the twist.We are sponsored for the last time this month by Nicecrane Designs and they have really given us beautiful images to work with.
The DT have used a selection of the images and they would love you to go and visit, but then to join in.
This week I have once again used one of the French Postcards, as I am having a really hectic week, and such fun to make a card not worrying about the colours. I do really love colouring, but every so often it just helps to get it done quickly.
I went with a different fold this week. I am not sure what it is called, but it is not a usual stepper card.
Paper. I was lucky that I found the right colours in a Vintage Bloc from Joycrafts. Inked the edges of the card with black, and distressed the edges of the paper.
The image is from the selection of French Postcards, cut out and matted onto burgundy card.
I stamped some music onto card, tore it and inked the edges.
The Sentiment is from Joycrafts.
A bow in a deep orange and some pearls to finish.
I will try my luck at some challenges later today.
