First Christmas card this year.

Happy Friday everyone,
My second posting today as I am trying to catch up with cards that I have finished, but not posted yet.

I decided that I need to get Christmas cards made early this year. I did it a few years ago and it was lovely having a head start when the time came for seriously getting cards made.

Here is my first one, that I did in fact start before Christmas, but with going away mid December, it just never got done. I joined a Christmas card group  Christmas 2014 Club run by Lady Anne at Art and Images by Kim. All you have to do is make 2 cards every month and post them to the group. I just think it is a brilliant idea to get going with my cards.

I used an embossing folder (sorry no name on it) and then coloured the embossed detail with Pan Pastel chalks
Added some Pontura pearl drops to the red berries.

Matted this onto red card.

I cut a slit in the card for the gingham ribbon to go through and added a bow.

The sentiment is from a set of Nellie Snellen.

This was such an easy one to do and will be using this embossing folder a lot more this year.
