Digistamps4Joy Bloghop to celebrate WCMD

Welcome to the Digistamps4Joy COUNTRY theme Blog Hop running from 5 – 11 October 2013 to celebrate World Card Making Day on the 5th October.    The bloghop has been extended to 11th Oct.

You have arrived at Ursula's blog in Roodepoort, South Africa!

Roodepoort is home to a pair of Black Eagles that have their nest at the top of the waterfall in the beautiful Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. This project has been going on for 42 years. This breeding pair are one of the few in an urban environment, and are unique to the Witwatersrand area, although they are under stress because of urban encroachment on their natural environment.

Fabulous Hop Prizes

The full hop order is listed on the main  DS4J blog

Here is my card made for the Blog Hop.

I have interpreted the country theme as a typical scene in rural South Africa.

I have used 3 images. Tree frame, Guinea fowls and Aloe. These are all available at the STORE.
I have made a side-step card and the images were coloured with Distress inkpads.
The sentiment is a freebie from A piece of Heart
Finished off with some guinea fowl feathers.

This is the DS4J image (“Guinea fowls”) you could win, by following the rules below. Please be sure to check them out, and also grab the missing letter to complete the mystery  sentence
