Dare I say it....2 weeks to go to Christmas. Hope all your preparations are going well...I need more time LOL.
Today I don't have a card, but I have decorated a tin for my project on the colour challenge at The Outlawz.
This week the colour palette and inspirational photo were chosen by Roxann, with a twist to add glitter.
Our sponsor for this month is Digi my World with a gift certificate of $10 for the winner.
There are some gorgeous cards made by the DT for your inspiration, so I hope we will come and join us with your projects.
When I saw the names given to the colours on the photo I immediately thought of a tin to decorate and that is just what I did. I need a few containers for some gifts, so this is one of them.
The papers are just from my stash, and the green, not quite a lime green was cut with a Martha Stewart punch.
The decration for the lid was made using Marianne Design dies for the doily as well as the flower. I cut the flower petals and then folded them slightly before glueing them back, and of course...the
glitter.
Finished off with a bow.
I was very happy with it and will be doing a few more for gifts.
Will be entering some challenges:
Cut, Create, have fun #2...Gift packaging
Glitter n sparkle challenge #10...use some metal
The ribbon girl...Christmas project
Simply Create challenges..Linky party 13
Craft my Life #3...Anything goesLove to create #45...Anything goes
Make it Monday #119...Anything goes
Have a wonderful week all and good luck with the Christmas preparations. See you back tomorrow again, in the mean time have fun and take care.
Love, Ursula
